(Alliance News) - Amcomri Group PLC on Friday said it completed the acquisition of Randor Technologies Ltd, a Dublin-based provider of industrial electronic repair and reverse engineering service, also known as Electronix.
Amcomri, a London-based specialist engineering services and industrial manufacturing group, said it paid an initial sum of EUR2.0 million, with a remaining EUR1.5 million to be paid on a deferred basis based on an earn-out agreement.
The acquisition aims to boost Amcomri's portfolio within the specialist repair sector, and broaden the range of specific technical services provided by the Embedded Engineering division, Amcomri said.
Electronix had a normalised pretax profit of EUR730,000 in the financial year ended February 28.
Amcomri Investment Director Mark O'Neill said: "The acquisition of Electronix not only strengthens our ambitious organic and acquisitive growth strategy, but also marks Amcomri's first acquisition outside of the UK, as we continue to roll out our proven 'Buy, Improve, Build' model. Following the previous acquisitions of TP Matrix and Etrac, Electronix provides an exciting and logical extension to our growing group of specialist electronics repair and overhaul businesses, and we look forward to working with Maurice, Rena and the team at Electronix to deliver further success to the business."
Amcomri shares were 0.4% higher at 134.50 pence each on Friday around midday in London.
