(Alliance News) - Altus Strategies PLC on Tuesday said it has begun a 1,600 metre drilling programme at its Tabakorole gold project in southern Mali.
Altus said the programme will target "high-grade trends from historic drilling". The scheme is being financed by Glomin Services Ltd.
"In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Glomin has established enhanced health and safety procedures at the project. We look forward to updating shareholders on the results from the drilling in due course," Altus Chief Executive Steven Poulton said.
Altus shares were 6.1% higher at 33.96 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
