LONDON (Alliance News) - Altona Energy PLC Monday said Executive Chairman Christopher Lambert has taken up the role of Chief Executive at the company, following the departure of its managing director.
The AIM-listed Australian energy company said that, following the decision, Deputy Chairman Michael Zheng has stepped up to be executive chairman.
Managing Director Chris Schrape stepped down on November 1 after Altona completed a placing of 59.7 million shares to Wintask Group. Wintask is owned by Qinfu Zhang, a Chinese national and chairman of the Hailang Group, a private group of manufacturing and high-tech companies with clean-coal technology patents and patents with emission-reducing applications in mainland China.
Altona shares were down 2.6% to 1.12 pence Monday.
