LONDON (Alliance News) - Altitude Group PLC Friday said it is in early stage discussions to sell its exhibitions and publications business, as it noted a recent increase in its share price.
Shares in Altitude were up 23% at 13.50 pence Friday morning, having risen to 13.75 pence earlier in the day.
Altitude said the sale of the exhibitions and publications business would result in it focusing entirely on its technology business. It noted that, if the sale is agreed, it would be classified as a "fundamental change of business" under AIM rules and would require prior approval of shareholders.
It added there is no guarantee the potential sale will take place.
