Alternative Income REIT PLC - UK commercial property investor with assets predominantly let on long leases - Says resolutions 9, 11, 12, and 13 failed to carry at its annual general meeting while all other resolutions were passed. resolutions 9 and 11 were proposed as ordinary resolution while 12 and 13 were special resolutions. Alternative Income says: "The board is disappointed by the level of voting participation and also, in particular, the failure to pass resolution 11 to adopt the proposed revised investment policy." Also expresses disappointment with failure of resolutions 12 and 13 "given that the resolutions follow the provisions of the pre-emption group's statement of principles for the disapplication of pre-emption rights and reflect UK listed company market practice."
