Alpha Growth Set To Make Appointments As It Looks To Expand Operations

LONDON (Alliance News) - Newly listed financial services company Alpha Growth PLC said Monday it made a loss for the period from listing in London to February 28.

Alpha Growth reported a loss of GBP249,962. Included in this was the GBP78,617 listing costs. The company's net assets at the end of February were GBP366,192.

Alpha was listed on the London Main Market on December 20, 2017.

Executive Chairman Gobind Sahney said: "We are now focused on expanding the company's operations and following through on the strategy of generating revenues. Since the IPO the board have been very active in rolling out its current product offerings and is in negotiations with a range of clients and entities, some of which are at an advanced stage, which we hope to announce shortly. Furthermore, we plan to make personnel announcements that will bring a wealth of experience, relationships, and validate the company's business plan in the near term.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the shareholders for their continued support and work with us to build a company for the long term."

Shares in Alpha were down 4.6% Monday afternoon to 1.03 pence each.
