(Alliance News) - Alpha Growth PLC on Thursday warned the Covid-19 pandemic could hit its full-year results and reported a widened interim loss.
The financial advisory firm reported a pretax loss of GBP306,481 in the six months to February 29, stretched from GBP301,482 in the year prior. The loss was solely due to operating expenses, which climbed 1.9% annually.
Like last year, Alpha Growth generated no revenue.
Back in April, Alpha Growth said it had "sufficient working capital to complete its strategies".
The company warned on Thursday: "However, the impact of Covid-19 has had an effect on the timing of various counterparties to transact with the company and this may impact on company's financial results in financial 2020 if delays should continue for an extended period of time."
Shares in the company were 10% lower at 1.50 pence each in London on Thursday shortly before midday.
