(Alliance News) - Alpha Growth PLC on Monday said Austin King will be joining the financial services firm as investor relations director of the BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund.
Alpha Growth said BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund - which produced its first net asset value in September - has been well received in the US and European markets. This has accelerated the requirement of bringing on a full-time investor relations person that will be dedicated to raising funds and liaising with existing fund investors, the company explained.
In addition, Alpha Growth said Andrew Dennan has resigned as non-executive director, with immediate effect, after holding his position for four years, to pursue and devote more time to his other business interests in the natural resources sector.
"Andrew has been an instrumental colleague and partner in the foundational years of the company and will continue to provide his advise and guidance to me and the Board as we continue to grow," said Executive Chair Gobind Sahney.
"Austin brings a wealth of experience to the fund raising for the BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund and we are very pleased to have been able to get him onboard," added Sahney.
Alpha Growth shares were trading 4.0% lower on Monday in London at 1.44 pence each.
