LONDON (Alliance News) - Pharmaceutical company Alliance Pharma PLC on Friday said it has appointed Andrew Franklin as its finance director, with plans for him to join the company on September 28.
Franklin joins from his role as general manager for European tax and accounting at Panasonic Europe Ltd, the European arm of Japanese electronics group Panasonic Corp. Prior to this, he was the finance director and company secretary of Genzyme Therapeutics Ltd, the UK and Ireland arm of biotechnology company Genzyme Corp.
"We welcome Andrew to Alliance as our new Finance Director. He brings considerable experience, having operated for 14 years in senior financial roles in the pharmaceutical industry," said Chief Executive John Dawson.
