LONDON (Alliance News) - Allergy Therapeutics PLC said Monday that a key paper about proteomics in allergies has been published in the World Allergy Journal.
Proteomics is the study of proteins. Allergy Therapeutics' Chief Scientific Officer Murray Skinner led a team of scientists at the company to use a new proteomic approach to understand the "molecular fingerprint underpinning the causative agents of leading causes of allergy".
"Our development of proteomic and allergomic concepts as described in this paper underpins our track record in the scientific advancement of our product portfolio, which is an important part of our growth strategy, These advancements reinforce our focus on patient care and our commitment to invest both in existing and future products to ensure patients receive the treatment they deserve," said Skinner in a statement.
Shares in Allergy Therapeutics were up 2.2% at 27.20 pence Monday morning.
