Alfa Financial Software says revenue, profit up in "exceptional" year

12th Mar 2026 11:10

(Alliance News) - Alfa Financial Software Holdings PLC on Thursday reported "a very strong financial performance" in 2025, and declared a higher special dividend.

The London-based provider of software to automotive finance providers said revenue increased 15%, or 17% at constant currency, to GBP126.7 million in 2025, from GBP109.9 million in 2024. Subscription revenue "continued to grow strongly" with a 16% increase, while Delivery revenue rose 15% and Software Engineering rose 13%.

Operating profit increased 17% to GBP40.1 million from GBP34.3 million. Pretax profit climbed 18% to GBP40.1 million from GBP34.1 million.

Basic earnings per share rose 17% to 10.19 pence from 8.68p, while diluted EPS rose 18% to 10.14p from 8.56p.

Alfa proposed an ordinary dividend of 1.5p per share, up 7% from 1.4p for 2024. It also declared a special dividend of 3.1p, up 29% from 2.4p.

"In 2025 we delivered exceptional operational performance along with a very strong financial performance generating 17% constant currency revenue growth and a 32% operating profit margin, meaning our target of 'Rule of 40' was well and truly beaten. It also was a year of strong strategic progress with Subscription revenues," commented Chief Executive Andrew Denton.

Looking ahead, he added: "The strength of our culture along with the proven success of our strategy, the quality of our people and our product, and our very healthy pipeline mean we remain confident in the outlook for the business."

Alfa said it maintains "a very healthy sales pipeline", and is encouraged by early-stage activity.

It noted that US business now accounts for 45% of revenue, "which at current exchange rates creates a headwind for growth", and noted "wider macro uncertainty".

Regardless, Alfa said it expects "to see good revenue growth in 2026 and beyond."

Alfa Financial Software shares were down 6.8% at 180.00p late on Thursday morning in London.
