Aldermore Group Shares Suspended Pending Company Announcement (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in Aldermore Group PLC were suspended from trading on Wednesday at the company's request, pending an announcement.

Challenger bank Aldermore had said in early December that shareholders approved its merger with FirstRand International Ltd in the Court and General Meeting.

The South African financial services company offered to acquire Aldermore for 313.0 pence per share in October, valuing the company at GBP1.08 billion.
