Albion Enterprise VCT Says Interim Net Asset Value Slips

5th Feb 2020 14:42

(Alliance News) - Albion Enterprise VCT PLC on Wednesday said its net asset value per share edged fell slightly in its first half of trading.

The venture capital trust said its net asset value at December 31 was GBP75.5 million, per share it was at 118.70 pence. This would represent a 0.6% decline from 119.42p on September 30.

Following a 3.00p dividend to be paid at the end of February, the company's net asset value will be at 115.70p per share, a 3.1% decline from the September figure.

Albion shares were untraded in London on Wednesday afternoon, last quoted at 112.00p each.

The company in December said it reached its intended fund raise of GBP6 million, and so has closed its offer for further subscription.

It decided against exercising its over-allotment facility for an additional GBP2 million, in view of recent investments and disposals.

Since the end of September, the company made a GBP696,000 investment in Catab Research Ltd, a provider of automated speech recognition technology.
