(Alliance News) - Albion Enterprise VCT PLC on Friday said its net asset value rose in its most recent year and raised its dividend.
The venture capital trust posted a 117.76 pence per share net asset value for March 31, up from 109.46p the year before.
Albion attributed this to a 14.34 pence per share total return, deducting a 6.00p per share dividend for the period, up from 5.00p. Albion has declared a first dividend for its 2020 financial year of 3.00p per share.
"Your board sees the portfolio as well balanced across a variety of growth sectors. Although recent changes to the company's investment policy may result in increased volatility within the portfolio, we remain confident that the fundamentals in the companies within our portfolio, and the new companies that we are backing, give the company the potential to continue to deliver positive shareholder returns," said Chair Maxwell Packe.
