LONDON (Alliance News) - Akers Biosciences Inc. Friday reported a narrowed pretax loss as revenues rose in the nine months ended September 30.
The biotechnology company is moving to the NASDAQ, and subsequently provided its results under US accounts standards.
Akers posted a pretax loss of USD745,125, narrowed from a pretax loss of USD1.9 million in the previous year. Revenues rose to USD3.0 million from USD1.2 million.
Some of the rises in revenues was offset by sale costs rising to USD1.5 million from USD691,628 in the previous year.
Shares in Akers were trading down 1.2% at 3.90 pence.
