(Alliance News) - Air Partner PLC on Tuesday said its Redline subsidiary has secured a contract to provide security consultancy support at the UK's HS2 project.
Redline's four-year contract with Align, a joint-venture of three infrastructure companies, will be in relation to a "key section" of the HS2 project. The C1 package section runs from London to Birmingham.
Air Partner Chief Executive Officer Mark Briffa said: "The acquisition of Redline was the highlight of our last financial year and we are very pleased with its performance since joining Air Partner. One of the reasons we acquired the business was its long-term contracted revenues with global blue-chip customers, which in turn will serve to improve the quality and visibility of the group's overall earnings. This contract extension is a fantastic example of this, and we look forward to continuing to play an important role in this high-profile project."
Air Partner shares closed 4.6% lower at 66.00 pence each in London on Tuesday.
