Air Partner's Cabot Division Helps Kenya Airways Sell Two Boeing 777s

15th Jan 2016 09:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - Aircraft remarketing broker Cabot Aviation, a division of Air Partner PLC, on Friday said it helped Kenya Airways to sell two Boeing 777-200 ER aircraft to US-based Omni Air International.

The sale of the Boeing aircraft follows Cabot Aviation's appointment in August 2015 as Kenya Airways' exclusive remarketing agent for four B777-200ERs.

"Kenya Airways continues to retain Cabot Aviation to remarket the two remaining Boeing B777-200ERs and a spare Trent engine," according to the statement.

"We are delighted to have started the year by arranging this sale for Kenya Airways in difficult market conditions. Our focus is now on finding a new owner for the remaining two aircraft," Tony Whitty, chief executive and founder of Cabot, said.

Shares in Air Partner were up 6.0% at 400.00 pence on Friday morning.
