LONDON (Alliance News) - Aviation services firm Air Partner PLC said Friday it has appointed Chris Mann as its interim chief financial officer with immediate effect as it continues to search for a permanent replacement.
Mann - a chartered accountant - will remain in post until a permanent CFO is appointed. He will not be a director of the firm nor be a member of the board.
Former CFO Neil Morris resigned in mid-April after the company discovered an accounting error following internal investigations related to customer receivable collection since between 2011 and January. Air Partner anticipates recording a GBP4 million charge in relation to the accounting error.
Mann previously worked in a number of senior level finance positions at firms including Kone Corp and Gatwick Airport Ltd.
Air Partner has asked an executive search company to assist in the search for a new permanent finance head.
Shares in Air Partner were 3.2% lower at 102.59 pence on Friday.
