Air Partner AIM Suspension Lifted After Annual Report Publication

12th Jun 2018 13:17

LONDON (Alliance News) - Air Partner PLC said Tuesday its suspension on the London AIM stock exchange has now ended and it has been restored to the official list.

Shares in Air Partner were up 14% at 115.00 pence on Tuesday afternoon. Prior to suspension, the company's previous close was on May 31 at 100.45p.

The shares were suspended because the aviation services group missed its UK Listing Authority deadline to file its annual report.

On Monday Air Partner published its full year results and the Financial Conduct Authority lifted the company's suspension.

In May, the group attributed the delayed annual report to an accounting review.

"This unforeseen delay is a result of the volume of work required to complete the accounting review and its impact on the financial year audit and the prior year restatements," the group said at the time.

In its report on Monday the company called the accounting review - expected to have cost GBP1.3 million - "unwelcome, challenging and costly" but added that it has now been resolved.
