AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Tracsis wins UK rail deal; Ondine optimistic

19th Feb 2025 11:03

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM on Wednesday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Tracsis PLC, up 17% at 419.75 pence, 12-month range 261.00p-972.00p. The transport technology provider signs a multi-year deal with Rail Settlement Plan, a division of Rail Delivery Group, to deliver a system that will power pay-as-you-go travel in urban areas across National Rail in the UK. Tracsis says there is no change to its expectations for the financial year ending July 31 due to the contract win.

----------

Ondine Biomedical Inc, up 4.4% at 12.00p, 12-month range 5.00p-13.30p. The firm talks up its antimicrobial therapy for nasal decolonization. Nasal decolonization removes or cuts the amount of the staphylococcus aureus bacteria in the nose. The treatment is presently undergoing a phase 3 trial in US hospitals. "We have successfully treated over 200,000 patients in Canada and the UK, and as Steriwave kills more pathogens than just S aureus, both patients and clinicians have embraced the added protection Steriwave provides against infection risks. Patients appreciate the reassurance of enhanced safety, while clinicians value having a fast, easy-to-implement solution to help prevent potentially devastating post-surgical infections. By seamlessly integrating into nursing workflows, Steriwave gives surgeons confidence that nasal decolonization has been achieved, significantly lowering the risk of surgical site infections," Chief Medical Officer Simon Sinclair says.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Zytronic PLC, down 20% at 42.00p, 12-month range 37.50p-76.90p. The sale process for trading subsidiary Zytronic Displays achieves no agreement, despite "engaging with multiple counterparties". As a result, Zytronic will commence the orderly wind-down of company assets. "At this stage, there can be no guarantee as to the level of returns, that may be available to shareholders," the touch sensors manufacturer warns.
