Helix Exploration PLC, up 7.8% at 26.40 pence, 12-month range 11.66p-30.50p. The London-based helium explorer says a recent technical issue at its Rudyard project is resolved and confirms that the variable speed drive is now in operation. Helix says it expects to reach a production milestone shortly and plans to host several production partners on site as development progresses.

EPE Special Opportunities Ltd, up 4.9% at 172.00p, 12-month range 136.00p-174.50p. The Mauritius-based investment holding company announces plans to undertake up to GBP3.0 million in share buybacks, funded from existing cash reserves. EPE says the programme may exceed 25% of average daily trading volume due to the low liquidity of its shares in issue.

SkinBioTherapeutics PLC, down 30% at 13.69p, 12-month range 12.00p-27.50p. Chief Executive Officer Stuart Ashman resigns after being suspended by the board "pending an investigation into matters relating to his conduct". The Newcastle Upon Tyne, England-based life science firm focused on skin health provides "no further comment" on the subject of the probe, saying it is "undertaking a full investigation, supported by its professional advisors". Ashman has been CEO since 2019, after joining from Onbone Oy, a Finnish medical device company. Non-Executive Chair Martin Hunt becomes executive chair temporarily while the company looks for an interim CEO and then new permanent CEO. Back in October, Chief Operating Officer Simon Hewitson had left, with his duties taken over by Ashman and Finance Director Emily Bertram.

Tern PLC, down 20% at 0.40p, 12-month range 0.30p-2.11p. Launches an open offer to raise up to GBP384,408 through the issue of up to 96.1 million shares at 0.40 pence each, a 20% discount to the prior closing price. Shareholders are entitled to subscribe on the basis of one new share for every seven held, with the offer conditional only on admission to AIM and expected to close on March 2. Tern says the open offer is not underwritten.
