AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Parkmead swings to loss; GCM completes placing

28th Mar 2025 10:46

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM on Friday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Parkmead Group PLC, up 5.7% at 14.00 pence, 12-month range 7.55p-27.00p. Swings to a pretax loss of GBP1.1 million in the six months to December 31 from a profit of GBP911,000 in the prior year. First-half revenue falls 38% to GBP2.1 million from GBP3.4 million, reflecting a 33% on-year decline in net production to 181 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 269 boepd. This reduction was expected as a result of the LDS-01 gas reserves now being fully recovered. Cost of sales halved during the six-month period to GBP868,000 from GBP1.5 million, due to reduced sales volumes in the Netherlands. Executive Chair Tom Cross says: "The company has made excellent progress towards finalising the sale of Parkmead (E&P) Ltd. Parkmead and Serica are on schedule to achieve completion before mid-year, unlocking GBP14 million in firm cash for Parkmead. This places the group in a strong position to pursue value adding acquisitions and make further investments in our existing gas and renewable energy projects. The launch of the Glenskinnan Renewable Energy Park consultation is the culmination of several years of work for Parkmead. We are excited by the potential value that can be created for shareholders as we progress the project with Galileo."
