Intercede Group PLC, up 8.5% at 198.00 pence, 12-month range 92.15p-216.90p. The cybersecurity software firm now expects a financial performance ahead of market expectations for the year to March 31. It puts consensus at GBP16.1 million for revenue and GBP3.3 million for adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation. It reports further contract orders and renewals worth over USD5 million in December.

Hornby PLC, up 7.5% at 27.40p, 12-month range 15.00p-41.20p. The models and collectables firm says sales in the third quarter to December 31 rose 7% on-year on a continuing operations basis. "Group sales for the financial year to date are 8% ahead of last year, and gross profits are ahead by 10%," it adds. The third quarter includes the key festive trading period. "A strong programme of activity around Black Friday and Christmas contributed to 23% revenue growth and 38% gross profit growth versus the month of last year for December. Almost 50% of all Black Friday transactions came from first time customers, up from 42% in 2023, demonstrating improved acquisition of new customers to our brands in this key promotional period. Acquiring new customers in these naturally buoyant trading periods is critical for feeding our CRM strategy that drives further purchases over time," Hornby says. "Our current forecast to year end March 2025 remains on track for year-on-year growth."
