AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Tavistock up on GBP40 million wealth unit sale

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Monday.

AIM - WINNERS

Tavistock Investments PLC, up 87% at 4.95 pence, 12-month range 1.22p-5.90p. The Berkshire-based investment manager with a market capitalisation of just GBP30 million agrees the sale of Tavistock Wealth for up to GBP40 million in cash. Tavistock said it has entered a 10-year strategic partnership with Titan Wealth Holdings. As part of the arrangements, Titan has agreed to buy Tavistock's multi-asset manager with over GBP1 billion of funds under management, Tavistock Wealth, for up to GBP40 million, together with a 10-year earn-out.

Kromek Group PLC, up 7.4% at 16.11p, 12-month range 7.66p-25.20p. The Sedgefield, England-based detection technology supplier wins USD6 million contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. Kromek will deliver the second phase of its bio-threat detection system for the US Department of Defense. New contract takes the overall programme value awarded to around USD13 million for first and second phases of Kromek's bio-threat system project.

Sound Energy PLC, up 5.1% at 1.52p, 12-month range 1.02p-4.72p. The Moroccan-focused upstream gas company says it has agreed to buy Schlumberger Silk Route Services Ltd. The acquisition will boost its participating interests in the Anoual and Greater Tendrara exploration permits in eastern Morocco by 27.5% to 75%.

Oriole Resources PLC, down 13% at 0.65p, 12-month range 0.28p-1.95p. The exploration company says results for 8 holes drilled at Bakassi Zone 1 prospect at its 51%-owned Bibemi gold project deliver multiple multi-gram intersections from two fence lines in the southwest of the prospect and confirm more than 100 metres vertical continuity to the system from surface. Best intersections include 2.45 metres grading 2.96 grams per tonne gold and 3.60 metres grading 1.75 grams per tonne gold from BBDD007 and 12.40 metres grading 0.71 grams per tonne gold from BBDD009.
