AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Mediazest jumps as new business wins roll in

30th Mar 2021 10:49

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Tuesday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Mediazest PLC, up 57% at 0.137 pence, 12-month range 0.02p-0.18p. The audio visual services firm says it continues to win additional new project work at an encouraging rate. Over GBP250,000 confirmed additional written orders have been received and around the same amount of further orders on top of these are currently at the final stage of negotiation. "We have seen a marked increase in new business opportunities since the beginning of the calendar year and the Board is pleased with the rate at which these opportunities are being converted into orders," Chief Executive Geoff Robertson says.

----------

B90 Holdings PLC, up 33% at 18.60p, 12-month range 4.58p-38.81p. The online marketing company raises GBP1.1 million via subscription for 7.8 million shares at 14p each, and adds that it has entered into affiliate agreements with RB Journalism SIA, trading as oddsen.nu, and E-2 Communications Ltd to access potential new customers for, and drive additional traffic to, the Bet90 platform. "The signing of these affiliate deals with Oddsen and E2 reflects the Board's strategy to invest in marketing and to expand the geographic focus of Bet90. The proceeds from this Subscription will put the Group on a more stable financial footing and enable the activation of additional marketing initiatives to drive revenue," says Executive Chair Paul Duffen.

----------

LoopUp Group PLC, up 27% at 92.40p, 12-month range 55p-250p. Reports revenue of GBP50.2 million for 2020, up 18% on GBP42.5 million in 2019 and swings to pretax profit of GBP5.7 million from loss of GBP2.8 million. Confident in meeting market profitability expectations for 2021, "albeit at a potentially lower level of top line revenue."

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Bowleven PLC, down 33% at 3.85p, 12-month range 1.75p-9p. Africa-focused oil and gas exploration and production company says that ongoing market volatility caused by the pandemic in 2020, and the associated fall in global oil prices, has continued to slow down progressing Etinde development. This has particularly hit various commercial, legal and regulatory approval negotiation processes. As a result, final investment decision is likely to slip into 2022. "Although the ongoing macro-economic conditions seen in 2020 and beyond have negatively impacted the timing of the Etinde project, we welcome the recent oil price strength and we continue to work towards achieving FID as quickly as possible," says Chief Executive Eli Chahin.

----------

Fevertree Drinks PLC, down 4.2% at 2,199p, 12-month range 1,022p-2,587p. RBC cuts the premium tonic water maker to Sector Perform from Outperform.
