LONDON (Alliance News) - Agriterra Ltd said Friday it is in ongoing discussions after an issue with the payment for the proposed sale of its Sierra Leone cocoa assets.
Agriterra agreed the sale of the assets for USD750,000 in a management buy-out, but said Friday it has been informed the payment for the sale cannot be made by January 9.
However, Agriterra said the management team "remain committed" to the deal and discussions are ongoing. The company said it expects to be able to release an update on the deal during January.
