LONDON (Alliance News) - Aggregated Micro Power Holdings PLC said Thursday it has raised GBP10.2 million via the issuing of loan notes with a coupon of 8% via a special purpose vehicle.
The AIM-listed wood fuel and distributed energy company said the funds were raised via Aggregated Micro Power Infrastructure 2 PLC, a newly launched vehicle listed on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange and able to issue listed loan notes on a regular basis.
"We are delighted to have secured further capital to support our growing pipeline of projects. Together with the capital raised by the first AMPIL vehicle (GBP12.4 million), AMPH now has a further GBP10 million available to support its growing portfolio of distributed energy projects," said Richard Burrell, chief executive of Aggregated Micro Power.
