LONDON (Alliance News) - African Potash Ltd Monday said it will commence the first phase of its drill programme at the Lac Dinga Potash Project in the Republic of Congo within the next few days.
The AIM-listed exploration company focused on sub-Saharan potash assets, is undertaking a maiden 1,000 metre diamond drill programme at the Lac Dinga project, in order to test the interpreted prospective salt sequence for the development of high-grade sylvinte horizons within the basin-wide carnallite layer.
The initial first phase drill programme includes two vertical drill holes approximately 400 - 500 metres deep.
African Potash shares were up 2.5% at 4.10 pence Monday morning.
