LONDON (Alliance News) - African Battery Metals PLC said on Thursday operations are now underway at its Kisinka copper-cobalt project, located in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
A field camp has been established at Kisinka and a total of 248 termite mound samples have been collected to date from the field. They are being transferred to the operational office to be analysed.
Additional samples will be collected in the coming weeks, African Battery Metals added.
Executive Director Paul Johnson commented: "After quite a gap in operational activity for the company I am pleased to advise that operations are now underway at Kisinka where we are targeting copper-cobalt mineralisation in a highly prospective region."
Shares in African Battery Metals were down 9.8% at 0.38 pence on Thursday.
