LONDON (Alliance News) - AfriAg Friday said it had signed a deal with International Consolidated Airlines Group for the British Airways and Iberia parent to fly cargoes of agricultural goods into Europe from its hubs in Africa.
IAG Cargo will transport freight to Europe for several of AfriAg's key existing contracts and also future contracts, the transporter of agricultural products in Africa said.
AfriAg, which listed on AIM earlier this year, has operations in Zambia and South Africa picking up agricultural produce and transporting them to hubs for export. It has plans to rapidly expand across more of the continent.
