LONDON (Alliance News) - AFC Energy PLC on Wednesday said it remains on track with its Power-Up project in Germany, with initial power production from the plant expected in July 2015.
Construction of its KORE alkaline fuel cell system is ongoing at the Air Products facility in Germany, with completion expected to occur in July.
"We continue to make great progress towards the successful deployment of AFC's first KORE system in Germany in the second half of this year. The challenging target set in fast tracking the deployment timetable by 18 months, and having the KORE delivered and operational by July 2015, has to date proven deliverable and we continue to wait in anticipation of a successful demonstration of the KORE system in July," said AFC Chief Executive Adam Bond.
AFC shares were up 5.3% to 40.28 pence Wednesday.
