1st Oct 2015 08:19

LONDON (Alliance News) - AFC Energy PLC Thursday said that Yady Worldwide SA BVI, a company wholly owned Ben White, the son of AFC's founder, has increased its holding in AFC by 7.04% through the acquisition of all the shares held by Linc Energy Ltd.

AFC said that Yady bought 20.3 million shares from Linc Energy for an undisclosed sum.

"We wish to acknowledge Linc Energy's support of AFC over the past few years during which time it has been one of the company's largest shareholders. I also wish to welcome Yady's decision to further support the company at this time of accelerated growth and drive towards commercialisation," Chief Executive Adam Bond said in a statement.

Shares in AFC were trading up 2.9% at 36.00 pence Thursday morning.
