(Alliance News) - Aeorema Communications PLC on Tuesday said it has adapted to the new operating environment, changed by coronavirus pandemic.
The London-based events agency said it remained profitable during the six months to the end of June, following the return to profitability in the final three months of 2020. With a very strong pipeline, the company said it expects this to result in a marked increase in revenue during the first half of its current financial year, which started on June 30.
In addition, Aeorema said it continues to maintain its strong cash position with a cash balance in excess of GBP1 million.
"In a period in which the team have worked tirelessly, up-skilling, retraining and refocusing on virtual and hybrid events following a history of purely live events, I believe we have created the perfect platform on which we can capitalise," said Chair Mike Hale.
The company expects to publish its results for the year ended June 30 in October.
Aeorema shares were trading 31% higher in London on Tuesday at 37.40 pence each.
