ADVFN Licences Foreign Rights To Harriman House For Several Books

13th Aug 2019 12:17

(Alliance News) - Investing website operator ADVFN PLC said Tuesday it has licenced foreign rights to finance books publisher Harriman House from ADVFN Books.

Under the agreement, Harriman House will act as agent, offering the rights of the ADVFN Books titles to its worldwide network, and will also undertake translations of the titles.

The deal will initially licence foreign rights for three titles: A Beginner's Guide to Value Investing by Clem Chambers, Trade Financial Markets Like the Pros and The Complete Guide to Successful Financial Markets Trading, both by Simon Watkins.

There is the prospect that more titles will be licenced in the near future. In the meantime, this deal is expected to generate residual income for ADVFN.

"We are delighted to be collaborating with the team at ADVFN Books to explore rights opportunities and wider collaborative partnership opportunities," said Myles Hunt, managing director at Harriman House.

Shares in ADVFN were untraded on Tuesday, last quoted at 27.45 pence on Monday.
