LONDON (Alliance News) - Proton therapy systems developer Advanced Oncotherapy PLC on Tuesday said work on its facility in Harley Street in remains on track, despite recent concerns raised by shareholders.
Advanced Oncotherapy said its shareholders had recently raised concerns that a planning application made by Howard de Walden Estates Ltd on 141-143 Harley Street in London was withdrawn in January and that this could impact the company's progress.
But Advanced Oncotherapy said the planning application withdrawn did not involve any works to the building that is part of creating a proton beam therapy facility, which the AIM-listed firm will run.
Howard de Walden Estates said work on the project remains on track, and Advanced Oncotherapy noted the developer is bearing all of the costs.
Advanced Oncotherapy shares were down 1.1% to 6.67 pence.
