LONDON (Alliance News) - Advanced Oncotherapy PLC on Thursday said its Chinese market partner, Sinophi Healthcare Ltd, has signed a framework deal with China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University.
Under the deal, Sinophi and the hospital will work on the creation of a proton therapy centre. Advanced Oncotherapy is focused on developing proton therapy systems for cancer treatment.
Though the deal does not constitute a purchase for a LIGHT system, made by Advanced Oncotherapy, the company said it will notify markets should a purchase order be made.
Shares in Advanced Oncotherapy were up 2.6% to 7.44 pence on Thursday morning.
