LONDON (Alliance News) - Advanced Oncotherapy PLC Monday said it has appointed Sanjeev Pandya as its new chief executive officer, with immediate effect, while current Chief Executive Michael Sinclair has been appointed executive chairman.
Pandya is currently the group's chief operating officer, having been promoted to COO in October 2013 after having joined the company as director of special projects.
The developer of innovative medical technology for cancer treatment said it has made a number of changes to its management structure, including the appointment of Sinclair as executive chairman, as well as David Evans are deputy chairman.
"Following the recent successful fund raise of GBP6m, Advanced Oncotherapy is now well placed to develop and commercialise the LIGHT proton beam system for therapeutic use in hospitals around the world," said outgoing Chief Executive Michael Sinclair in a statement.
Advanced Oncotherapy shares were trading 1.0% lower at 2.50 pence early Monday.
