(Alliance News) - Advanced Oncotherapy PLC on Wednesday announced a GBP2.7 million subscription intended to help its first LIGHT system achieve regulatory approval.
Shares in Advanced Oncotherapy were up 4.4% at 39.14 pence in London in midday trading.
The company developed proton therapy systems which are used to treat cancer and will issue 6.8 million new share at 40p each to help fund the progression of its verification and validation activity for its proton accelerator known as Linac Image Guided Hadron Technology or LIGHT.
Advanced Oncotherapy will also issue 5,750 shares to a financial advisor in lieu of fundraising fees. Once all shares are admitted, Advanced Oncotherapy will have 244.4 million shares in issue.
