LONDON (Alliance News) - Advanced Oncotherapy PLC Friday said it has appointed acting Chief Operating Officer Sanjeev Pandya permanently to the role and made him an executive director.
The 45 year-old former orthopaedic surgeon left medicine to join McKinsey & Co, before moving to Pfizer and then to Lehman Brothers, where he was an investment banker in healthcare mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, he was an independent consultant in Russia and at UK private healthcare company Bupa.
"Sanjeev has clearly spent some time getting to know the company, the team and the technology and I am delighted to welcome him to the board after this process. Sanjeev's background and commercial experience will add great value to the executive team that he leads as we translate our technology into real world commercial success," Chairman Lord Evans of Watford said in a statement.
Advanced Oncotherapy shares were down 1.5% at 3.35 pence Friday morning.
