LONDON (Alliance News) - AdEPT Telecom PLC Tuesday said it has won an extension to its public sector telecom framework contract from the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation, with the deal extended for a further two years to October 2016.
Under the deal, AdEPT is the sole recommended provider of landlines, broadband, SIP and internet connectivity to the public sector and to not-for-profit organisations in the UK.
"We are delighted that ESPO has chosen to extend the agreement for a further two years and this will continue to form a central part of our public sector strategy," said AdEPT Chief Executive Ian Fishwick.
"In the first two years of the ESPO Telecom Framework 20 councils, including County Councils, City Councils and District Councils, have moved their service to AdEPT. This has made AdEPT one of the fastest growing suppliers in this part of the public sector market," he added.
AdEPT shares were up 2% to 113.6 pence on Tuesday.
