AdEPT Telecom Wins Network Services Deal With UK Government Arm

6th Aug 2015 08:13

LONDON (Alliance News) - AdEPT Telecom PLC on Thursday said it has won a network services framework deal with the Crown Commercial Service, the UK government's procurement arm.

The agreement covers data access, traditional telephony, IP telephony and integrated communications services. The initial deal is for two years, with an option to be extended for a further two, and AdEPT did not provide any financial details.

"Whilst winning a Crown Commercial Services Network Services framework agreement is no guarantee that we will win future Public Sector contracts, the important point is that we are now formally approved to be able to offer these services to Public Sector bodies across the UK. Our plans to offer a wider range of products to the Public Sector are proceeding well," said Ian Fishwick, AdEPT's chief executive.

AdEPT shares were down 2.7% to 270.00 pence on Thursday.
