AdEPT Telecom Set To Become AdEPT Tech, Increases Interim Payout

27th Sep 2018 14:06

LONDON (Alliance News) - AdEPT Telecom PLC told its annual general meeting on Thursday that it will pay a higher interim dividend than last year, as shareholders approved the company's proposed name change.

The company has made "considerable progress" over the six months to September 30 in growing its managed service and IT capability, with geographical focus on London and the south east of England.

Included within the AGM resolutions was a proposal to change the company's name to AdEPT Technology Group, which was approved. The company will, therefore, trade under the name AdEPT Technology Group from Monday.

AdEPT said it is confident its interim results will support its progressive dividend growth policy and, therefore, the company declared an interim dividend of 4.90p per share, up 15% on last year.

"We look forward to providing further information on the results for the period and the early progress of Shift F7 at the time of our interim results," said Chairman Roger Wilson.

AdEPT will release its half-year results on November 13.

Shares in the company were up 7.3% at 402.88 pence on Thursday.
