(Alliance News) - Managed IT services provider AdEPT Technology Group PLC on Wednesday said it has made "considerable progress", helped by newly-acquired Advanced Computer Systems UK.
AdEPT bought the education-focused IT firm for an initial GBP5.2 million in April and the integration of Advanced Computer has been largely completed, Chair Ian Fishwick said ahead of the company's annual general meeting on Wednesday.
The company also expanded geographically during the six months ending September 30, he said.
Fishwick said: "AdEPT made considerable progress in its strategy of further expanding its managed service and IT capability, with continuing geographical expansion. This progress has been made through a combination of organic sales from IT and managed services and the contribution from our acquisition of Advanced Computer Systems UK."
Fishwick added the company was awarded Health & Social Care Network compliance which would allow it sell data networks to the NHS. Following the award, AdEPT won the contract to design and roll-out network infrastructure across more than 400 NHS sites in Kent, including hospitals and GP surgeries.
Turning to its first half report, which is due to be released on November 12, the company said its interim results will "support its progressive dividend growth policy".
Shares in AdEPT were broadly flat at 359.00 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
