LONDON (Alliance News) - AdEPT Technology Group PLC said Monday it has hired a new chief executive officer, effective from the start of January, and the current CEO will become chairman.
The IT managed services and cloud services provider said the current chairman will move to deputy chairman.
Phil Race has been hired by AdEPT as an executive director immediately and as CEO starting January 1. Current CEO, Ian Fishwick, will move to chairman.
The company said Race will be taking over the day-to-day management but Fishwick will continue the AdEPT's acquisition initiatives.
AdEPT said Race has "highly relevant" experience in IT outsourcing and enterprise software. He previously headed business processing and technology services provider Xchanging PLC.
Shares in Adept were down 0.3% Monday at 362.00 pence each.
