Adamas Finance Asia Invests USD2 Million In DocDoc Under New Manager

19th Mar 2018 12:48

LONDON (Alliance News) - Adamas Finance Asia Ltd said on Monday it has made its first investment in Singapore-based patient empowerment company DocDoc Pte Ltd since the appointment of Harmony Capital as the company's new manager.

DocDoc leverages data and clinical information across a network of physicians and hospitals to allow patients to find high quality medical care.

The pan-Asian investment vehicle was the lead investor in DocDoc's USD5.5 million round of investment, through a USD2.0 million subscription to a convertible bond offering.

"We are delighted to make our first investment following the change to our investment policy and a series of disposals in 2017. The transformation of the ADAM portfolio is underway and the DocDoc investment represents an important step in reshaping the portfolio. DocDoc is an exciting next generation digital health platform, adeptly fulfilling patient demand and supported by partnerships with leading players such as the Ping An Group and Prudential," said Chairman John Croft.

Shares in Adamas Finance Asia were up 0.8% at USD0.650 on Monday.
