(Alliance News) - Active Energy Group PLC on Friday said a public comment period for a permit for its CoalSwitch at Lumberton, North Carolina has been extended to March 27.
A public meeting, originally scheduled for March 16, was cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the biomass-based renewable energy firm explained.
North Carolina's Division of Air Quality "will then take final action in relation to issuance of the permit", Active Energy said.
Shares in the company were 1.1% lower at 0.45 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
