LONDON (Alliance News) - Action Hotels PLC on Thursday said it is holding talks with French hotel group Accor SA over growing their partnership in the Middle East and Australia markets.
Action said its chairman, Mubarak Al Sabah, met with Accor Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sebastien Bazin in London on Wednesday to discuss the potential expansion of their partnership.
The pair currently work together on five operating hotels, all under the Ibis brand. The pair also are set to open another four hotels by the end of 2016, also under the Ibis banner, in Bahrain, Oman and Australia, along with a Novotel hotel in Kuwait in 2017.
Action Hotels shares were up 0.8% to 65.00 pence on Thursday.
