Acta Wins Order For Electrolysers From Taiwan Based M-Field Energy

14th May 2014 11:03

LONDON (Alliance News) - Acta SpA said Wednesday that it had won an order for 500 litre-per-hour modular rack-mounted electrolysers from long-standing Taiwanese customer M-Field Energy Ltd.

The electrolysers, which will be delivered over the next two months, will be used in telecom back-up power systems.

M-Field has also ordered a number of smaller electrolyser units from Acta, which it will ship shortly.

No financial details were disclosed.

Acta is continuing to negotiate with telecommunication companies for its rechargeable fuel cell back-up power systems, including on-site evaluations. Acta said it had completed two of these evaluations, two more are progressing, and one is ready to start.

"We are delighted to receive this new order from M-Field, one of our leading customers, and we look forward to supporting their growing success in this billion dollar telecom back-up power market," said Chief Executive Paolo Bert in a statement.

Shares in Acta were trading down 2.5% at 6.21 pence Wednesday morning.
