LONDON (Alliance News) - Clean-energy products company Acta S.p.A Monday said it has secured a repeat order for six 500-litre-per-hour modular rack-mounted electrolysers from M-Field Energy Limited, a telecommunications back-up power fuel-cell system integrator based in Taiwan.
The electrolysers are to be integrated into telecommunications back-up power systems by M-Field for supply to telecom customers within Asia and elsewhere.
Acta didn't provide financial details of the new agreement.
Acta said the electrolysers, which offer autonomous refuelling through onsite hydrogen generation, will offer substantial benefits to telecommunications companies seeking to reduce the operating costs and security risks of their current base-station back-up power systems.
The first three units of the order are scheduled for shipment to M-Field in early November 2013.
Acta shares were quoted at 8.62 pence Monday morning, up 0.24 pence or 2.9%.
