LONDON (Alliance News) - Hydrogen energy company ACTA SPA Wednesday said its back-up power system successfully supplied electricity to a mobile telecommunications base during the recent power outage suffered in Cairo, Egypt.
Acta Power, the company's back-up power solution, performed to specification and enabled its mobile telecoms customer in the city to provide continuous mobile services provision throughout the blackout, said the company.
"Our customer and local partner have been impressed with the performance of the Acta Power back-up system, which responded immediately to the power outage and kept the customer's base station online throughout the black-out period," said ACTA Chief Executive Paolo Bert.
Acta shares were trading 2.2% higher at 3.1925 pence per share on Wednesday.
